There are many different programs and guides out there for golfers looking to improve their swing. The Zepp Golf 2 3D swing analyzer is one of them. After Zepp Golf came out the original 3D swing analyzer, which proved to be a high-quality product, they have now come out with a new and improved second edition.
The biggest change from the previous model is the size and shape of the Zepp Golf 2. The bright yellow sensor is now circular, which gives it a more elegant look than the previous version. Another key improvement is the addition of another high-speed gyroscope for more accurate data collection and the dropping the weight down to 6.25g.
The Zepp Golf 2 3D swing analyzer is also a glove-based tracker instead of attaching to a club, like with the Garmin TruSwing. It saves a bunch of time since you aren’t required to re-attach as you change clubs during a round.
Everything you need to get the device up and running is done through the Zepp app, which you can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. This means there’s no need to connect to a PC or Mac. The Zepp Golf 2 works with smartphones, tablets and is also compatible with the Apple Watch.
With regards to charging the swing analyzer, they have an easy to use magnetic attachment clip on to the top of the device. When placed on top of the charger, the device flashes yellow to let you know that it’s powering up. The Zepp Golf 2 takes approximately 90 minutes to charge from zero to 100%, with a battery life of up eight hours on a single charge.
I believe that the Zepp Golf 2 is the best golf sensor on the currently around. It’s ease of use, unique physical design, and software features are great. I believe that it can be a useful tool for any level of golfer from beginners to golfers with low handicaps.
The sensor retails for $147.99, which is right around the same price as the Garmin TruSwing. But, I believe that the Zepp is a much better product and is well worth purchasing.
For those of you who already have the original device, there are currently in-app upgrades available which are definitely worth giving a look.
